After my Photo Trip to Kiama and surrounds, I've decided that during the coming stuvac I need to go on a proper road trip and finally see more of Australia than just NSW (and ACT, but ACT doesn't count).

So Brissy or Melb?? Choices choices..

Some of you might know I'm on this forum for Forester owners. If you didn't know, there you go.

On this coming weekend there will be a massive meet-up in the Kangaroo Valley, NSW. And Saturday we'll be heading to the Marulan Driver Training Centre for a bit of fun..
I've never actually tracked my car before, so it'll be a learning experience. I'm not going to flog it and take unnecessary risks, it's all about learning your car and driving techniques. I've always wanted to go to track days, so I'm really looking forward to it. And I'll be bringing my camera to take some photos of the other Foresters present. Currently we're looking at around 30-ish cars attending the track day.

In order to attend the track day I need a helmet. Luckily my youth pastor had a spare laying around...



It's going to be flippin' hectic!

Long time no see...

So uni is starting back up now, and I've enrolled in the classes all right. This semester I'm doing Advertising Campaign, Photojournalism, and Wines: Appreciation...

Last one seems a little random doesn't it. Well it is, and it's honestly only to get the credit points for the unit. But it should be fun and a learning experience. Who knows, I might appreciate wine more after I do it.

I attended the 2010 Superlap World Time Attack Challenge this weekend and took some pretty decent photos. It was my first time to Eastern Creek International Raceway, and also my first time taking photos of absolute monstrous cars in action. For my first time, I think I did alright.

And to my delight the Tomei Cusco Impreza made the podium with 3rd, only a tenth from 2nd place Sierra Sierra. Team Tarzan's Cyber Evo took the crown.

I've started the work on the Photoblog / Photography section now. It's exciting to start something new again, and especially so because it's something I'm creating for myself, so I have full reign over... well, everything.
